If you are on your holidays to Mallorca and are in the Alcudia area on Sunday 26 September you will be able to see one of the most important cycling events in Mallorca - the ride up the Puig Major which is the island's highest mountain [1436m]. Although part of this is used by the miliary and is closed to visitors, the steep slopes are covered with sweet smelling wild rosemary and is home to goats, sheep and rare birds.
The event is organised each year by Trencagarrons and on this occasion the organisation hopes to exceed 400 participants. A chance to enjoy riding up this mountain and to take part in one of the annual cyling-touring routes on the island.

Tenerife Champions Beach Volleyball
Between the 8-10 October the arena at the Siam Park in Costa Adeje, Tenerife will become the stage of the Tenerife Champions Beach Volleyball Cup for the third consecutive year.
The event is a volleyball pairs competition in which 8 teams will face chapions of the leading countries from around the world. The Spanish pair is Pablo Herrera and Adrian Gavira.
So head to Siam Park while you are on your Tenerife holidays to see the volleyball. Or why not spend the whole day in the Park and take advantage of all the facilities - after all this is Europe's largest waterpark!
