A pair of British girls - Annie Januszewski [aged 40] and Mel King [aged 37] set sail on a 3,000 mile journey from La Gomera to Antigua - completely naked. They are hoping to beat the current world record of 75 days by completing the journey in just 70 days, arriving in Antigua in February and also they hope to raise £50,000 for MacMillan Cancer Support by the end of the trip.They originally planned to complete the race in their underwear but then took the decision to strip down the full way.
The two girls are from Bristol and normally participate in a mixed four team and have been rowing together for 15 years.
