If your idea of holiday-hell is to spend your well-earned break in a hotel full of other people's children making constant noise, then Corona Holidays have it covered!
We understand that some adults like to relax in peace and quiet without children running around, and have put together a selection of ADULTS ONLY hotels in the Canary Islands. So, take it easy with a quiet swim in the pool, pick up a book, enjoy a cocktail or two, or simply relax in a spa - the choice is yours. A Spanish Self-Catering Holiday Will Cost Less
![]() |
Make your Euro go further |
It transpires that the Spanish resorts are far cheaper for tourists to carry out their self-catering shop than resorts in other European resorts in Corfu, Turkey, Crete and Cyprus. The only other destination to come in the top results was The Algarve in Portugal.

Lanzarote Villa Deal of the Week
We have a fantastic offer for a villa in Playa Blanca, Lanzarote.
For any week during May and June 2011, the villa is only £525 for the week [excluding flights]. The villa has 3 bedrooms and sleeps 6 people which means that you are paying less than £90 per person !!
This is a complex of semi-detached villas located in Playa Blanca, just 2.5km from the beach and town where you will find the main shopping area and restaurants, so if there is a larger group of you then why not book a couple of villas and be close to each other - you never know, we may be able to get the villas next to each other.Take a look at the villa and if you would like more details, just give us a call or send us an enquiry.

Lanzarote and Ibiza in "Bars of the World"
Recently, Lonely Planet in conjunction with Singha Beer, have brought out a guide to the world's best bars. Included are:
La Cueva in Nazaret, Teguise, Lanzarote, Canary Islands ... Off the Beaten Track
"Surely the most magical nightspot ever imagined, this surreal bar is built into volcanic cliffs with exposed rock walls. There are tunnels, stairs, ladders and stepping stones across turquoise pools to connect the various bar areas. Sip some Canarian rum and dance along to the tunes coming out of the caves above you."
Mari Pins in San Antonio Bay, Ibiza, Balearic Islands ... Pubs/Clubs
"The top DJs at Mari Pins really know what to play to get the party into full swing. Fun themed nights and fun prizes [an evening's free drinks, a free jet ski ride], 80 different shots, lotsa lagers and an extensive cocktail list, coupled with a bar terrace and a snooker table, set you up for a great night".

Lanzarote - Zapatero Visit
It was recently reported by Island Connections that the Lanzarote Tourist Board persuaded Spain's prime minister - Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero - to go public with his praise for the island of Lanzarote. He recorded an 18-second video clip which has been posted on the Tourist Board's office site and has also featured in news headlines across Spain.
The clip is set in palm tree surroundings and Zapatero says that Lanzarote has everything, and encourages people to spend their holidays there.
However, the video has already triggered protests from other holiday regions in Spain, including Valencia, who have accused the prime minister of being niave and has commented that he should ensure that he remains neutral with his comments on where people should spend their holidays.
Take a look at Lanzarote to see if you would like to spend your next holiday there.
