Costa del Silencio in Tenerife has recently undergone a 2million euros facelift which involved roads being resurfaced, new pavements and a general "spruce up" of the area. Work has now started on an extensive urban park which could take up to 18 months to complete.The new Garanana Parque will see the introduction of sporting courts, leisure and recreational areas, an amphitheatre, a skating park and skateboard zone, a running track, bicycle lanes, a climbing area, a tree covered plaza and numerous playgrounds for children. There will also be public toilets and security cameras installed.
